No forms to memorise, no right answers, no need to have it figured out. You just show up and we talk.
You don't need to prepare a speech. But here's what helps.
Tell us a little about what's been going on. A few sentences is enough — this just helps us come prepared. No medical jargon required.
Once you send the form, we'll reach out within 24 hours to confirm your appointment time and send you a secure video link.
That's it. You don't need to be anywhere special — just somewhere you can talk without being overheard. Your bedroom works fine.
First appointments run 60 minutes. Here's how they usually go.
We want to understand who you are first — your life, your context, what matters to you. The clinical stuff comes after. We're not just gathering a history; we're trying to understand a person.
You'll have space to describe what's been going on in your own words — at your own pace. We'll ask questions, but we won't rush you or interrupt. If you need to stop, we stop.
We'll tell you what we're noticing and what questions it's raising for us. Not a diagnosis handed down from on high — more like thinking together. We'll explain our reasoning and invite yours.
If medication is relevant, we'll explain what it does, what it doesn't do, and what the alternatives are. Nothing is prescribed without your understanding and consent. If therapy is the better first step, we'll say so clearly.
You'll leave knowing exactly what we're doing and why. Not a vague plan — a concrete next step you actually feel okay about. If you're not sure about something, that's the time to say so.
You're not the first to wonder about these things.
Then you cry. This is psychiatry — emotions are the whole point. You won't be rushed past it, and you won't be judged for it. We've sat with a lot of feelings in these appointments. Yours are welcome too.
Most people don't — that's exactly why they're here. You don't need a clear narrative or the right clinical words. "I just feel off" or "something's been wrong for a while but I can't explain it" is a perfectly good place to start. We'll help you find the words together.
No. Medication is one tool among many, and it's never the only conversation. If we think it's worth considering, we'll explain why, what the evidence says, and what the alternatives are. You make the call. Always. We won't follow up with a hard sell.
Tell us. Seriously — knowing what didn't work, or what felt dismissive or wrong, is some of the most useful information you can give us. We'd rather know upfront than accidentally repeat something that hurt. Bad experiences with mental health care are more common than they should be. We take that seriously.
Yes — with very limited legal exceptions. If there's a serious, imminent risk of harm to yourself or someone else, we're required to act. Outside of that, what you share stays between us. We'll always explain the limits of confidentiality clearly at the start.
No referral needed. And you don't need to come with a diagnosis — many people come without one, or with a diagnosis they're not sure about. We'll start from scratch if that's what's needed. Bring yourself; we'll take it from there.
The first appointment is the beginning, not the assessment.
After your appointment, you'll receive a brief summary of what we discussed and the plan we agreed on — sent over WhatsApp or email. Nothing clinical or jargon-heavy. Just: here's where we are, here's where we're going.
We check in. If something we recommended isn't working, or something's changed, we adjust. You won't be left to figure it out alone between appointments. Most follow-ups are 30 minutes.
Some people need weekly appointments for a while. Others find monthly check-ins are enough. We don't lock you into a fixed schedule. We figure out what actually works for your life — and we revisit it.

We're not a high-volume clinic. That's intentional — it means you're not rushed, and it means we actually know you.
The first step is the hardest part.
Everything after that, we do together.
